Curious about Meditation? Want to learn how? Laura has been teaching Mindfulness-Based Meditation since 2004, under the guidance of Jon Kabat-Zinn. Laura studied both the practice of Mindfulness Meditation from a clinical perspective in graduate school, and in a Mindfulness Meditation Instruction teacher training. Laura weaves in Conscious Breathwork, Walking Meditation, Eating Meditation, and Chi Kung for Meditation (as a moving form of meditation).
Start your practice by finding which of the many paths appeals to you most! And no, meditation is NOT about emptying your mind. It's about cultivating being in the present moment.
Private Lessons are by appointment (both in studio in Claremont and on the Zoom platform). Lessons are also available as duets, small groups and workshops (by request).
